Peterson Park AYSO Region 183 is a well-established youth soccer organization located in Chicago, Illinois. It is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), which is known for its commitment to providing a fun, fair, and inclusive environment for young athletes. Peterson Park AYSO takes pride on ensuring that all volunteer coaches (parents, guardians, local volunteers) are all 100% AYSO Coach Certified at all levels.    Therefore if there are 8 6U ( 5-6 year olds) teams, then all 6U Volunteers Coaches are 6U Coach Certified.   This also goes for 8U Coaches for all teams ( ie. 40 8U Teams) where again at 100%.     For 10U, 12U, and 14U, 16U-19U , we aim to be 100% AYSO level certified.       This is very important for our Coaches to be trained within the AYSO Model and if you have questions where you like to know about the certification process.  Peterson Park has high standards to ensure that these teams are supported with a coach that has a background check, completed AYSO Safe Haven, and also certified at that level.
